I just found this great blog crafting up a cross section of disco, funk, boogie, and hip hop. From the mind of Helsinki DJ, DJ Anonymous this blog has some great mp3s, mixes, and original edit. I particularly dig the post with tracks from Harold Gill and Plush.

DJ's Delight

The track was originally  released on the "Angeles Y Demonios" album In 1974 but a longer version was released in 1986 on the German CBS label. "Jibaro" has since been reproduced by Electra (Oakenfold is the culprit here) and has ended up on many Balearic compilations.

This is a funky disco track remixed by none other than Larry Levan featuring a driving bassline, clavinet, horns, and layers of congas. The original version is from the album of the same name from 1982.
